The SABO system is setup to create and print a standard bar code onto all tickets. This barcode can then be scanned for authenticity using the access control section and a wireless scanner or a scanner hooked directly to the computer. You have 4 options:
WIRELESS SCANNER OPTIONS
2D Linea Pro Scanner
The Linea Pro scanner is a new product that works with SABO’s Apple scanning App. The 2D scanning offers a broader scanning interface recognising barcodes from any direction allowing scans on ticket barcodes directly from customer’s mobile phones. This is particularly useful for those that leave their Print at Home printouts at home. The Linear Pro can be ordered to work specifically with an IPod 4 or 5* or IPhone 4 or 5.
Compatibility: iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPod Touch 4th Generation, iPod Touch 5th Generation.
*Please note the recently released iPhone C version will not work with the Linea Pro.
WIRED SCANNER OPTIONS
These scanners plug into your computer using a USB cable and can directly access the scanning program in SABO.
2D Motorola Scanner
Whether you need to scan printed bar codes on paper labels, hard tickets or mobile bar codes on the screen of a mobile phone, with the Motorola 2D Scanner, you’ll be ready. You get the versatility to scan any 1D or 2D bar code. With industry-leading scanning speed; true point-and-shoot scanning simplicity there is no need to align bar code and scanner; and hands-free and handheld flexibility.
USB CREDIT CARD SWIPE
USB credit card swipes are simple and easy to use. They do not require software installation. By connecting to a USB port the swipe is installed in less than 10 seconds.
The process works well with express sales on when you have high walk up sales where you simply enter the number of tickets, swipe the card and the system automatically enters the card type, card number, card expiry date, person’s first name and surname. It does not create a new customer record. It then auto processes the transactions and produces the receipt.
